About Lifecast Body Simulation
Founded in 2017, Lifecast Body Simulation has developed a range of highly accurate and lifelike medical manikins that are transforming the way healthcare simulation and education are experienced. Designed and produced at the renowned Elstree Film Studios in London, and in Sarasota, Florida, each manikin reflects an unmatched level of realism and exceptional craftsmanship.
With roots in the film industry and a strong focus on realism, Lifecast brings together a unique team of special effects artists, prosthetic experts, and 3D scanning technicians. Together, they create manikins that truly break the mould, generating powerful emotional responses and a level of learner engagement rarely seen in medical training.
Co-Founders Dave Halliwell and Rob Clark, both former Heads of Education in the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care sector, are committed to addressing bias in medical education and simulation. Today, Lifecast produces manikins ranging from premature babies to senior adults, in a variety of ethnicities that better reflect the real world.
In August 2023, Lifecast Body Simulation Ltd. became part of the 3B Scientific Group of Companies.
