Lifecast’s new Micro-Preemie Baby Manikin has been created by our highly skilled team at Elstree Studios along with the invaluable assistance of Dr Alok Sharma, Consultant Neonatologist at Southampton Hospital, England. The development of a manikin that can help prepare healthcare providers in the urgent medical management of these most vulnerable of patients has been a significant challenge and we are very proud to be bringing this to market.

Our range now includes a 28-29 week premature baby featuring full airway and UVC Umbilicus. The new born baby is a highly accurate and lifelike infant designed to create an emotional response during education and training. Both the premature and new born are available in a wide range of ethnicity options.

Lifecast Body Simulation, a leader in realistic training manikins, announces the release of the world’s first Child Who Has Down Syndrome training manikin. This realistic manikin was formed from a real-life 3D body scan of a seven (7) year old girl who has Down syndrome named Gwen and will be available to healthcare education facilities around the world to facilitate specialty and inclusive training in managing Down syndrome.

Based on the lifecasts and scans of real people, Lifecast Adults feature lifelike details including replication of veins and underlying structures, hair and precise anatomical mouths and airways enabling ALS airway management.

Highly accurate 82 year old male and female adult bodies designed and manufactured in the UK. Lifecast Senior features lifelike fine details such as replication of veins and underlying structures as well as hair and also includes an airway and articulated mouth for airway management. Available in wide range of ethnicities and created with the same weight and height of an average senior adult, the Lifecast Senior will encourage more natural handling, bringing a new level of realism to medical training.
